The members of the Howells Fire Company fried up some dough at the 21^st annual Otisville Country Fair this past weekend. This was the first year the fire company ran the fried dough stand at the fair. The past 15 years the Howells Ladies Auxiliary ran the stand form its inception. Members were at the stand from Thursday to Sunday night. Some four hundred fifty pounds of dough was cut, stretch and fried during the four-day event. Sunday evening had to be the busiest, as lines as fifty deep formed. The company had three fryers and thirteen members going trying to keep up with orders.
